Student-Athletes graduate at a higher rate than their peers in the student body.
During a typical day, a division 1 student-athletes spend from 4.4 to 8.6 hours on their sport.
Some college coaches start building prospect student-athletes profiles as early as grade 7.
- Two-thirds of Division II student athletes said they spend as much or more time on athletics during their off season as during their competitive season.
- Even though Division III schools are not allowed to award athletic scholarships, often they give merit awards for student accomplishments that can lower your tuition.
- Division II is the only division with schools in Alaska, Puerto Rico and Canada.
- A student-athlete spends more time per week on academics than athletics.
